  Why do we need motor insurance

General

In order to provide additional services to their customers, many insurers are now offering emergency road assistance programs to their Motor Policyholders.

Many insurers offer 24-hour emergency assistance with the following benefits:-

Breakdown Assistance
  • Minor on-the-spot repair
  • Changing tyres
  • "Jump start" and battery replacement
  • Free towing within certain zones or regions (outside of which charges may apply)

Accident Assistance
Free towing, repairs and insurance claim support for own damage claims.

Eligibility
Private Car & Comprehensive policy

Identification
  1. Confirmation by the insurer's telephone hot-line or call center for valid Insurance on the car.
  2. Driver maybe the policyholder or persons authorised to drive.
  3. Tow Truck/workshop appointed by the insurer.
General Exclusions
  1. Additional services other than those mentioned above
  2. Replacement of parts/spare parts during breakdown assistance
  3. Remote areas or areas outside the specified assistance zone
