Through the PIAM Short Video Competition 2025, we’re calling on you our industry’s changemakers to spotlight the dynamic, rewarding, and meaningful careers in general insurance.

Whether you’re handling underwriting, driving digital innovation, or managing claims, your story has the power to inspire the next generation.

Campaign Period : 22 August 2025 - 21 September 2025

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Open to all employees (full-time and contract) of general insurance and reinsurance companies licensed under Bank Negara Malaysia and listed on the PIAM website.
  2. Participants must be currently employed at the time of video submission.
  3. Entries must be submitted as a team consisting of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.
  4. Each team may submit only one video entry.

How To Join ?

Step 1: Record a 1-2 minute video sharing the below: based on the theme: "INSURE YOUR FUTURE - A Career Beyond Limits!"

Step 2: Choose any creative format role-play, animations, behind-the-scenes stories, or your own unique approach.

Step 3: Submit your video in MP4 format via Google Drive Link: https://forms.gle/tEvJuiimAgmvS7sM6

Step 4: Do include in your entry your full name and staff ID number, job title, department, company name, contact number and team name.

Step 5: Submit your entry by 21st September 2025

Winning entries will be showcased at PIAM events, career fairs, and on digital platforms.

Judging Criteria

All video entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Judging Criteria Description
Creativity & Originality (30%) Innovative storytelling, fresh perspective, and personal experience
Relevance to Theme (30%) Clearly highlights why working in general insurance is exciting, meaningful, and rewarding.
Production Quality (20%) Visual and audio clarity is present and, overall presentation is polished.
Engagement & Impact (20%) Ability to inspire, connect, and leave a positive impression.
