Perlindungan Tenang provides simple and affordable insurance protection tailored for underserved segments, particularly the low-income group. Under this initiative, Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) recipients are eligible to receive a RM30 Perlindungan Tenang Voucher, which can be used to purchase microinsurance products such as Personal Accident from participating licensed general insurers. This initiative plays a key role in strengthening financial inclusion and ensuring basic protection is accessible to vulnerable communities.

How to Check Eligibility and Redeem the RM30 Perlindungan Tenang Voucher (PTV) for STR Recipients?
A. Online Redemption Steps
Visit www.myptv.my
Enter your National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) to check eligibility status.
If you are eligible, you will receive a voucher number. You can redeem the RM30 voucher at point of purchase.
Visit www.piam.org.my for participating general insurance plans.
